Shepherd 23 Studios is a faith-rooted creative hub. We make books, journals, music, and content, and we help other people make things too, with faith in the middle and intention behind every step.

We are not trying to sound like a ministry brochure, and we are not trying to sound like a sales funnel. We are trying to sound like us: honest, a little funny, and real about the fact that building anything worth building is messy.

Where things stand

Bear Cub Learns to Dance is out in the world, the first book in what we intend to be a series. The Intentional Journal is still being made, with the same care that made the book worth making. It ships when it is right, not when it is rushed.

What we stand on

God is part of it, or the answer is no. That is the first filter for every project, partnership, and product.

Family is the line. If the studio ever keeps us from our family instead of giving us more of it, we stop and fix it.

Progress over perfection. We ship honest work, bloopers and all. Perfect is not the standard; real is.

The sentence we work for
